In a world that entered the last century with two billion people and this century with over six billion people, planning and design expertise has never been more urgently needed. All of the professional programs within the College of Architecture are designed to provide each graduate with the critical research, analytical, conceptual, design and technical knowledge to meet the challenges of stewardship of the natural environment and the innovative and sustainable design of the built environment.

Creative and highly skilled professionals are required to meet these challenges through collaborative teams that include a full range of related professions from social and economic; political and legal to engineering, construction and management. These fully integrated teams require the most advanced digital technologies to conceive and communicate their creative solutions.
