Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC)
Through UNL's COPC initiative, one project developed a pilot system to allow, small, minority serving organizations (Lincoln's four cultural centers) to access today's vast technological based information, using web-based technology and Geographic Information Systems. A second project developed a neighborhood safety model, identified parameters, and collected data which is presented in a GIS format for public community discussion forums in collaboration with the Neighborhood Service Exchange, a collaborating community partnership organization.Faculty sponsor: Rodrigo Cantarero Ph.d
